Bethy Romero has spent more than 30 years dedicated to couture sewing, garment construction, and bridal alterations. Her journey began in her native Honduras, where she taught herself the foundations of sewing through years of practice, discipline, and a passion for craftsmanship.

After moving to the United States, Bethy built her career working alongside respected designers and couture workrooms, refining the technical skills that continue to define her work today. She spent fourteen years with internationally renowned bridal designer Monique Lhuillier, contributing to the construction of couture bridal collections and attending New York Fashion Week as part of the design and production team. Throughout her career, she also worked on collections for Rodarte, Halston, and Juan Carlos Obando, gaining experience across a range of high designing techniques and design aesthetics.

Following years in the fashion industry, Bethy brought her experience into the bridal alterations world, where she has integrated her passion and experience helping brides feel their very best on one of life's most meaningful occasions. That passion led to the creation of Bridal & Couture Alterations, a private mother-and-daughter atelier dedicated to providing brides with expert alterations in a personal and welcoming setting.

Today, Bethy works closely with every client, applying the same level of precision, care, and respect to each gown whether it is a modern couture design or a treasured family heirloom. Her philosophy is simple: every bride deserves to feel confident in a gown that fits beautifully and reflects her unique vision.
